Description
Spider is a collection of lamps designed by Joe Colombo for Oluce. This is the Spider Terra version.
The balance between technical precision and formal research comes to life in a collection that deeply influenced lighting design in the sixties. The Spider lamp, with its clean graphic style, shapes a collection that still retains its modernity and strong architectural value today.
Made of metal and aluminum, the Spider lamps are available in different finishes, and are offered by Oluce in table lamp and floor lamp versions. The adjustable reflector, designed around a light source with a G9 fitting, allows light to be directed precisely thanks to a joint system that naturally accompanies its movement.
Perfect for living rooms, studies, reading areas, and contract spaces, the Spider lamp interprets light as an architectural and functional element, so much so that it was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1967. This collection was part of the historic exhibition at the MoMA in New York dedicated to contemporary Italian design.
