Artemide Eclisse

Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, adjusts its light with a simple gesture: rotating the inner shell takes it from full light to a thin crescent of light, just like an eclipse (eclisse in Italian). Its compact size makes it perfect on bedside tables, desks and shelves. Besides the classic painted-metal version, there are editions with a PVD finish in gold, copper, chrome and glossy black.
